The 2025 Cycling BC Budget was approved by the Board of Directors on February 24, 2025 after review and recommendations from the Finance and Audit Committee consisting of Scott Suffolk, CPA, CGA, Kim Heath, CPA, CA,  Megan McGinley, CPA, CA, Martin Farnham, PhD and Christine Reid the Executive Director of Cycling BC.

Cycling BC is focused on stabilizing and building a sustainable future. With a conservative budget, we are preparing for potential revenue decreases through continued strategic cost-saving measures and efficient program management. Our goal is to break even while laying a strong foundation for long-term success.

To navigate the unpredictable nature of funding, we have developed a comprehensive fundraising plan that aligns with our balanced budget. Programs will operate on a revenue-positive model, prioritizing efficiency and smarter processes. Funding will be directed to support local initiatives, ensuring decisions are made in the best interests of both Cycling BC and the broader cycling community.

2025 will be the year we focus on strengthening our foundation, improving core systems, and reimagining our strategic plan with input from stakeholders. By the end of 2025, Cycling BC will be poised for growth and development in 2026 and beyond, ensuring long-term sustainability, restoring leadership to our community, and making decisions that support the future of cycling in British Columbia.
