Cyclocross Camp p/b Broad Street Breakaway

Broad Street Breakaway Cycling Club presents CYCLOCROSS CAMP 2024 (open to the public)

This 2-day skills and riding clinic is designed for cyclocross cyclists who want to best prepare for the season ahead.

Skills covered include:

• Equipment Assessment & Maintenance Recommendations
• Technical Skills:
  • Dismounts
  • Remounts
  • Barriers
  • Run-ups
  • Starts
  • Cornering
• Tactical Awareness:
  • Riding Efficiency
  • Pacing
  • Race strategy
  • Course Recon

The session occurs in controlled grass and dirt areas. New riders are encouraged to wear flat pedals and running shoes. Answer the questionnaire during registration to help us place you in the best group during our clinic. Please bring your cyclocross or gravel bicycle, as well as everything you need to enjoy 2 full days on the bike.

Date: Saturday and Sunday, August 24-25, 2024 @ 8:00 am-3:00 pm

This event has been sanctioned as a Cycling BC grassroots event, and therefore, members of the public can attend by purchasing a Single-Event License during registration. Discounted-entry is available for members of the 2024 Broad Street Breakaway Club.
