A fun, safe and memorable community after-school program available to local participants aged 9-13 years old with an iRide skill level of 3-4. The program will use the iRide skills curriculum to help your child build their confidence, foster friendships with their peers and develop intermediate and advanced bicycle skills.
This program builds on the iRide in-school curriculum to connect kids in your community with certified NCCP coaches trained to work with young people through Cycling BC’s iRide program. All sessions are covered by Cycling BC’s insurance policy with Jones Brown.
This 6-week learn-to-ride program covers a variety of topics that involve all aspects of riding. Participants will learn riding techniques such as uphill, downhill, tight turns, braking, gearing, and how to properly adjust their bike to fit themselves.
If your child enjoys their iRide experience, perhaps we’ll see you one of Cycling BC’s iRide Summer Camps or Youth Clubs.
