An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Sunday, repeating until Sep. 5, 2021
This year, Cycling BC is offering 2 Learn-To-Ride CYCLOCROSS clinics designed for people who are new to cyclocross or who wish to take their skills to the next level. The clinics will be led by NCCP Certified Coach Ben Chaddock, Cycling BC’s Head of Coach Development and iRide Program Manager, and 3x National Canadian Cyclocross Champion, Michael van den Ham.
Each day includes a two-hour skills session in the morning (9:30 am – 11:30 am) and an optional group ride (12:30 pm – 2:30 pm) in the local area. Each instructor will work with a maximum of 10 riders. The clinic costs $40 dollars per day. Individuals in need can contact Cycling BC to access a discounted rate.
A Cycling BC membership is required to register for the clinics. A drop-handlebar Cyclocross Bike or Gravel Bike is also required. We have 1 medium-sized rental bike available. Email to inquire. Flat pedals/sneakers are suggested for the skills session. No lunch or water is provided. Porta-potties are available on-site.
