Ideal for adult club participants who lead group activities, this one day workshop (splits modules A and B) covers the basic principles of coaching and leadership. Module (A) in an indoor, classroom module that covers ethical decision making, planning and organizing a ride, cycling safety and risk management, and introducing disabled riders to the sport. Module (B) is an interactive, outdoor module that includes an introduction to skill instruction, instruction practice and a group ride with the course participants.
For adult cycling clubs and other professional cycling instructors, namely indoor cycling instructors, the Competition Introduction certification, specifically the Road/Mtn. Bike Skills & Tactics modules will best fit your needs as a club ride leader.
