Sidney Velo Time Trial – Paskin Memorial Time Trial

Individual & Team Time Trial  (presented in conjuction with BC Masters Cycling Association)

NOTE: OPEN TO ALL AGE CATEGORIES. ALL CLASSES OF PARACYCLING ARE OFFERED. NEW RIDERS ARE WELCOME!

Special Promotion:

CASH PRIZES – $300

$10 entry fee for all riders new to BC Masters races

No fee for riders under 19

Format:

One event of 40 km individual and team (up to 4 riders) time trial

Sign on:

Duncan Meadows Golf Course parking lot 6507 North Rd. Duncan ( 3km from Hwy 1 and 18) from 11.00 a.m. to 11.45 a.m.

Start:

3.7 km from the golf club on the Cowichan Lake Rd (NOT Hwy 18) at the intersection with Payne Rd. W (second intersection of Payne Rd.) at Noon.

Course:

Towards Lake Cowichan (rolling), turn left at Greendale Rd triangle and return on Cowichan Lake Rd. to finish opposite the start.

Fee:

$20 for BCMCA members, $25 for non-members (30 yrs+)

No fee for riders under 19, all other riders $20

ALL riders must have at least a Provincial Race Licence for insurance purposes. Licences must be purchased through Cycling BC. No licence or proof of purchase, no ride.

Refreshments and awards at the golf club afterwards

BCMCA members. Awards are based on age standards. There are overall awards for the fastest men and women, as well as awards within each 5 yr age category e.g. 30-34, etc
