This event will be run as a Canada Cup, BC Cup, and the 2024 BC Provincial Downhill Championships, and will be held during the Crankworx Summer Series from August 2-4, 2024, showcasing the top downhillers from across the country as they navigate the steep and technical terrain to race against the clock.

The celebrated BC Cup is a collective of events forming Canada’s premier downhill racing series. The 2024 BC Cup Downhill Series will play out over a series of races throughout the province, giving racers the chance to accumulate points from May to September, chasing the opportunity to ultimately be crowned the BC Cup DH Series winner.
The Canada Cup series is designed to provide competitive opportunities to the next generation of cyclists, transitioning from provincial race series to international competitions.
This year, the race is a part of the Crankworx Summer Series which also features the Rheeder Men’s & Women’s FMB Gold Slopestyle (invite only) and Pump Track Challenges!
Registrations is online only – no day-of or on-site registration.

Coach Plate Requirements at Downhill Races: Starting in 2024, coaches planning to attend Cycling BC-sanctioned Downhill races will need to hold a UCI Technical COACH licence and be pre-registered for the event to get a coach plate and ride the course.
