Cycling BC, in partnership with Concord Pacific, is excited to announce the Tour de Concord coming Sunday, August 22, 2021, on the grounds of Concord Metrotown – a master-planned community with unparalleled bike amenities at the heart of downtown Burnaby.
The Tour de Concord will consist of a festival including an iRide youth cycling zone for kids, live music, bbq, prize draws, vendors, and more. The event will culminate with a spectator-friendly criterium race on a closed course bordering the future home of Concord Metrotown where racers will contend for racing glory and some serious cash prizes.
This collaboration between Concord Pacific and Cycling BC also celebrates a newly established partnership between the two organizations. Concord Pacific has come on board as Cycling BC’s newest sponsor and proceeds from the festival will be donated to Cycling BC’s youth cycling and high performance programs.
