Event Information
Once one of the oldest mountain bike events in Canada, the Vedder Classic has a rich history that began in 1985 and ran until the mid 1990s. The event was revived 3 years ago by a group of passionate volunteers who were eager to share some of the most spectacular single track trails that the Valley has to offer: epic climbs, technical sections, long descents, smooth rolling contours, rocks, roots and loam!
This race has something for everyone, offering a Full Course (35k) and a less grueling Shortened Course (15k). Enjoy a fully taped course, tons of volunteer support, a wicked after party and the bonus cash prizes!

Fully Taped Course
- Support – Fully stocked feed stations and on-course marshals.
- Amazing Singletrack Trails – West Coast riding at it’s best! Loam, burns and technical tracks will have you weeping with delight.
- Medical Aid – Professional first aid that you hopefully won’t need.
- Prizes! – We have $1400 in cash up for grabs as well as some sweat swag from our sponsors!
- After Party – Stick around for a post ride celebrations! Enjoy the beer garden, food trucks and after party.
Beer + Food + Afterparty
Enjoy the finish line beer garden and onsite food truck during the day, followed up by the after party in the evening!
Beer Garden, presented by Old Yale Brewery – Open from 12pm-6pm (no minors).
After Party – Starts at 7pm ($20 per ticket).
