Updated 2024 Pre-runner Policy:

** Pre-runner is a non-competitive category with a max of 2 participants used to test track conditions and timing equipment in advance of racing. Pre-runners are skilled athletes capable of descending the track comfortably and assigned by the host resort, however, they are ineligible to compete in other categories. The age requirement to be a pre-runner is a minimum of 13 years of age. The Pre-runner’s objective is to ensure that the course is clear and ready for the athletes to race, and to ensure the timing system in place is working properly.
