Points will be awarded to the top 75 finishers according to the points table below.
In the case of a tie, the highest-placed rider in the final race will be the overall series winner.
A BC Premier Leader Jersey will be presented at the end of each event to the overall leader. Series leaders will be presented with a leader’s jersey at the end of each race. Riders must be in attendance and in proper podium attire to receive the award. The Series leader will be required to wear the Leader Jersey at all BC Premier Road events as long as he/she is leading the series.
The rider with the highest points at the end of the series will be the winner. In the event of a tie, the rider with the best result at the BC Championship Road race will be the winner. Series winners will be invited to the Cycling BC Award Banquet in October to receive their prize.
Prizes will be awarded at the end of the series at the Cycling BC Awards Banquet. Presentation of the overall series winner will take place at Russ Hays/Accent Inns Grand Prix (Robert Cameron Law Series).
There will be equal prizing for men and women.
Riders must wear cycling apparel (comprising of clean team shorts, jersey, cycling shoes or sponsored podium shoes) to the awards ceremony when receiving the Leader Jersey or series prizes. Failure to do so will result in loss of award.
All athletes who have placed on the podium must attend the ceremonies. Failure to do so will result in loss of award.
U19 – Girls and Boys series is part of BC Premier Road Series and will race in Category 3. This will also include BC Youth Championships Omnium.
U17 – Girls and Boys
U15 – Girls and Boys
U13 – Girls and Boys
*U19 will be part of the BC Premier Road series with the Senior and Master riders. For those wanting to participate in the series, they will be racing with the Cat 3’s.
