Great Turnout at the Cycling BC Bike Skills Park at the Maple Ridge Everything Home Show May 3-5 2013

Cycling BC and Ridge Meadows BMX Club setup a bike skills course and BMX pump track as part of the Maple Ridge Everything Home Show this past week-end. Over 250 youth took their turn testing their bike skills on the grass course and BMX track.

Youth of all levels aged 3-16 took their turn on NORCO and BMX bikes through the grass course testing their skills around tight corners and an obstacle section.

Once they got the hang of biking through the grass course riders headed to the BMX pump track where they tried themselves our on wood rollers and dirt berms.

The tears were minimal with smile breaking at every turn!  Serveral kids stayed for hours laughing and improving their bike handling skills.  These new riders will be heading over to Ridge Meadows BMX for their Learn-2-Race clinic this Thursday.
