The Canadian National Championships were held in St. Albert, AB this past weekend in near perfect conditions. The weather was great, the racing was great and our BC athletes all did amazing. Sixteen Team BC athletes were at the event with most walking away with a solid result and N Plate.
Jared Ennis won and action packed Junior mens final, Mackay Leslie took 2nd place and Hayden Mechielsen had a mechanical after passing for the lead in the last turn. 
Tory Nyhaug won his 3rd Elite men’s national title, with James Palmer and Connor McCormack completing a BC sweep of the podium.
In the Junior Female class Michelle Berti battled her way to a 3rd place finish. Rosemary Adams placed 3rd in both the time trails and racing.
The Challenge riders from BC dominated the event. Most of the BC athletes were leading their races or hunting down the leaders around the track. It was a really strong showing for the BC athletes.
