Canada Summer Games 2022—Team BC Selection Criteria Released

Cycling BC is pleased to release the BC team selection criteria for the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games taking place from August 6-21, 2022, in Ontario’s Niagara Region. The Games, held every two years alternating between summer and winter, is Canada’s largest multi-sport event and plays a prominent role in developing our athletes.

The Games were originally scheduled to be held in 2021 but in September 2020, the Canada Games Council announced that the games would be postponed to the summer of 2022 due to concerns around the Covid-19 pandemic.

The time has arrived for us to assemble the best in our sport to represent BC on the national stage. Cycling is a staple of the Canada Summer Games and in 2022, Niagara is set to host a series of cycling events including a Road Race, Criterium, Time Trial, and Cross-country Mountain Bike.

The following documents will serve as the selection criteria for the teams that will represent Team BC in cycling at the 2022 Canada Summer Games.
