Call for Proposals: 2013
Coach Education Research
Through its Research Committee, the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) seeks research to enhance the effectiveness of coaching across all levels of the sport system. Towards this goal, the CAC sponsors an annual Coaching Research Symposium in conjunction with its Petro-Canada Sport Leadership sportif conference and calls occasionally for research proposals for projects up to $7,000. In order to encourage projects that have practical and scientific implications, each submitted project must demonstrate collaboration (i.e. project design, implementation, and dissemination of findings) between the researcher(s) and sport organizations in Canada. For 2013, two projects will be funded.
