Longstanding Vancouver Island Cyclocross series, Cross On The Rock, is hosting a double-header this weekend, with Kona Kup (Saturday, Beban Park in Nanaimo), and My Little Pony Cross (Arbutus Meadows, Nanoose). The weekend will be jam-packed with racing with both races, and a social hosted by Oak Bay Bikes in Nanaimo on Saturday night.
WD-40 Bike Wash will be on hand at both races, along with great food from Taco Revolution (Saturday) and Limon Food Truck (Sunday). Both races will get kids involved, with a half-lap race at 11:30 am.
A number of free passes to the Single Speed Cyclocross World Championships (SSCXWC) will be given away at the Kona Kup on Saturday.
