REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR 2014 CANADIAN MOUNTAIN BIKE MARATHON CHAMPIONSHIPS
Marathon Championships to take place in Squamish the day after Canada Cup MTB XC Finals
The 2014 Canadian Mountain Bike Marathon Championships will take to the trails of Squamish (BC), with some of the best cross-country mountain bikers battling it out for long-distance supremacy.
The Championships course will feature the same trails as the regular JABR presented by Pearson Financial Services LTD, but with a couple of extensions added on to total over 60 kilometers of racing.
These Marathon Championships will be presented on Aug 16, 2014, the day following the 2014 Canada Cup MTB XCO Finals. The event is a great opportunity for cross-country mountain bikers to participate in two high-level races on the same weekend in the same area.

JABR is proud to host the
2014 Elite Canadian Mountain Bike Marathon Championships.
RACE DETAILS
NOTE CHANGE OF START LINE and no sign-up the night before!
10:00 am | Race Start/Finish at Hunter Park on the Stawamus Dyke (behind Valleycliffe School at 38430 Westway Ave) Squamish, BC Valleycliffe School will be the sign-on/plate pick-up and race headquarters from 7am to 9am.
It is strongly recommended to sign up online before Wednesday August 13. Day-of sign up will be at Valleycliffe School at 38430 Westway Ave from 7:00 am – 9:00 am, cash or credit card only.
This race has been blessed with hot sun in the past so be sure to bring lots of WATER and SUNSCREEN.
NOTE: There will be porta-potties onsite so no need to use the neighbor’s yards!!!
The approximately 40km JABR course is set amongst some epic trail networks Through Squamish.
The Elite Canadian Mountain Bike Marathon course will feature the same trails as the regular JABR but with a couple of extensions added on to total over 60kms of racing.
