BMX BC Cup #4

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Lenny’s Last Chance Qualifier is a two (2) day total point (Omnium) BC Cup Event. The Event is being held at Action BMX in Surrey on September 6^th & 7^th, 2019. Winners will be determined based on their results over both days of the event.

 

In addition to the BC Cup races

• Friday will have a Pro Invitational, where riders will have to race on the second straight pro line over the Superman Segway (Corner Gap Jump).
• Saturday’s event will include, a Pro-Am Race for both Male and Female riders
  • an Old-School BMX Show and Shine,
  • and a Beer Garden, with beer supplied by Fuggles & Warlock.

 

REGISTRATION

Preregistration can be done through the event page on the Action BMX Facebook Page or over the phone (604) 309-6421 or. Payment will be on site only, and can be made by cash, debit or credit card. Registration for Friday will close at 6:30 pm. Registration for Saturday will close at 9:30 am.

 

Entry Fees

BC Cup $15 per day.

BC Cup $25 per day includes a Waiver for non-Cycling BC or non-UCI licence holder.

Pro Invitational $50.

Pro Invitational $60 includes a waiver for non-Cycling BC or non-UCI licence holder.

Pro-Am Race $50.

Pro-Am Race $60 includes a waiver for non-Cycling BC or non-UCI licence .

 

Event Rules

UCI Regulations will be enforced for all Categories except for number plate colors, numbers on jerseys and sunglasses on the podium.

 

Due to the unique nature of this event, the Cycling BC has allowed the sale of Single Event Licenses for all participants who do not currently hold a valid UCI or Cycling BC licence. Day licenses may be purchased for $10/day and will be included in the entry fee. Riders who currently possess a valid UCI or Cycling BC licence will not be charged the additional $10 Single Event License fee.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prizes

The winners of each BC Cup category will receive a Champion T Shirt. There will be random rider primes and holeshot awards throughout the event.

Riders can choose what wheel size of bike that they wish to compete on. Maximum size 24”.

2020 World’s Info

This event is not an official world championship qualifier. This race does make you eligible to apply as an Unranked Rider. If a rider has not already qualified for the 2020 Worlds in Houston, this event will allow them to apply for any available spots that remain open on the Canadian roster. The BC Cup BMX Series presented by Cobotix are 4 individually scored, provincial development races for both Cycling BC track members and guests racers. The series is operated in full compliance of Cycling Canada and UCI regulations in order to prepare racers for the next level of competition.

The races are open to all individual riders with a valid Cycling BC provincial race or UCI license. Guest riders may purchase 1 event licenses with the exception for race #1 – Provincial Championships.
