Burnt Bridge Classic | 2026 Canadian Gravel Championships

The Burnt Bridge Classic Gravel Fondo, also known as “The Legend”, has been a mainstay of gravel cycling in BC, drawing hundreds of participants and introducing a new dimension of cycling to local BC communities. Located in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, BC, the event features exclusive access to gravel roads and wilderness that is unparalleled in Canada. With varied and challenging terrain, the BBCGF offers a gravel cycling experience like no other. Now in its eighth year and part of the new Trek BC Gravel Series, the BBCGF is poised to take gravel cycling to the next level by pursuing the opportunity to host the Canadian Gravel Championships. Three “Classic” Distances are being offered: Impulso (Beginner) – 52km, Intermedio (Intermediate) – 75km, Esperto (Expert) – 123km. The Classic is open to all ages and genders in a conventional mass-start format.

The Burnt Bridge Classic will also be hosting the Canadian Gravel Championships and invite participants with the option to race among the best gravel racers from across Canada. Championship Race categories of Elite, Masters (35+), U19, and U17 are available. (Participants must have a valid race license).
