Event Information

Cycling BC will host a Provincial level C Cyclocross commissaire course on November 19 led in person by UCI Commissaire Jim Bratrud.

Thanks to Cycling BC, this course is FREE for all participants. (Ages 16+)

An optional mentored practicum component is scheduled for November 20, 2022.

On Sunday, November 20th, participants will have the opportunity to turn theory into practice, gaining first-hand race experience while assisting the panel of commissaires working the TriCity #3 race in Coquitlam. Jim and the officials assigned to the event will be your mentors. This will count toward your certification requirements. A quick note about certification requirements:

To complete your certification, you must attend the level C theory class, and take part in two (2) practicum races where you will learn the roles and perform various tasks under the guidance of an experienced commissaire to round up your skills.
