iRide Bikes & Bytes p/b Simon Fraser University Camps and Traction on Demand – (Girls only) (12 spots)

The best of both worlds! This biking & coding camp offers a fun, safe, educational and exciting introduction to computer coding and multi-discipline biking. This summer learn how to create your own website, program a robot, and edit a movie you filmed during your iRide bike sessions.

Each day includes 3hrs of coding projects and 3hrs of cycling. All rental bike gear and computers are provided. Learn basic coding skills with Scratch Jr and explore new cycling disciplines like Mountain Biking, BMX and the velodrome! Skills, games and rides! Transport to cycling venues to arranged by Cycling BC. Bicycle storage is provided by Cycling BC.

Open to ages 9-11, iRide Level 4-5, girls only

This camp will include photograph and video collection to help participants create their own website and video content. A summary video of the week may also be published by ToD and Cycling BC and circulated amongst participants for their enjoyment. This summary video may also be used for 2019 camp advertising

  • Bike helmet or use an iRide helmet!
  • Bring Your Own Bicycle or use an iRide bike!!!  just let us know during registration
