Ride and Climb Camp p/b Climb Base 5  (12 spots) 

The best of both worlds! This biking & rock climbing camp offers a fun, safe, educational and exciting introduction to rock-climbing and multi-discipline biking. Each day participants will start with iRide cycling session and learn how to ride a velodrome bicycle, learn BMX jumps and perfect their mountain bike skills. In the afternoon, participants will be learning how to belay, top-rope and climb faster than ever before at Climb Base 5. Read more about this camp on Climb Base 5’s website here.

Each day includes 3hrs of cycling and 3hrs of rock climbing. All rental bike gear and climbing gear are provided. Pre and post-care are available and provided by Climb Base 5. Cycling BC provides bicycle storage for the week of the camp. Transport to cycling venues to arranged by Cycling BC. Bicycle storage is provided by Cycling BC.

Open to ages 12-15*, iRide Level 5-6 

All sessions are covered by Cycling BC’s insurance policy with Jones Brown.

*exceptions allowed for 11yr olds with the appropriate skill level

  • Knot tying
  • Belaying (Rope Management)

  • Bouldering, Top Roping, & Auto-Belay
  • Games and activities that go hand in hand with a day of climbing
