McBride MTB Program #4 (Autumn Lv.4) p/b iRide

Hi! I am Ingrid and I am excited to offer an after-school community cycling program in McBride this autumn! I am passionate about our community, our trails and riding bikes with people of all ages! Let’s go riding!

Our program offers a fun, safe and memorable community program available to local participants aged 9-11 with an iRide skill level 4. (We have another program for Level 3 riders here). This program works in harmony with the Robson Valley Mountain Bike Association to provide access to our local trail network.  As a recipient of a Cycling BC iRide Development Grant, I have undergone NCCP-training with Cycling BC to help us utilize the iRide skills curriculum and help your child build confidence, foster friendships and develop intermediate and advanced bicycle skills.

All sessions are covered by Cycling BC’s insurance policy with Jones Brown.

This learn-to-ride program covers a variety of topics that involve all aspects of riding. Participants will learn riding techniques such as uphill, downhill, tight turns, braking, gearing, and how to properly adjust their bike to fit themselves.

If your child enjoys their iRide Community experience, please let us know and we can continue with additional programs in the summer and autumn. For more details about all of Cycling BC’s youth programs, please visit cyclingbc.net/youth.
