iRide Sprockids (Powell River MTB)
A fun, safe and memorable community after-school program available to local participants aged 9-12 with an iRide skill level of 3, 4 or 5. This program works in harmony with the Edgehill Rippers Mountain Bike Club and the Powell River Cycling Association to help kids access equipment support. The program will use the iRide skills curriculum and the Sprockids skills curriculum to help your child build their confidence, foster friendships with their peers and develop intermediate and advanced bicycle skills.
This program builds on the legacy of Doug Detwiller’s Sprockids curriculum to connect kids in your community with certified NCCP coaches trained to work with young people through Cycling BC’s iRide program. All sessions are covered by Cycling BC’s insurance policy with Marsh Canada.
If your child enjoys their iRide Sprockids experience, perhaps we’ll see you at the next iRide Games!
