RACE DETAILS

10:00 am | Race Start/Finish at Hunter Park on the Stawamus Dyke (behind Valleycliffe School at 38430 Westway Ave) Squamish, BC Valleycliffe School will be the sign-on/plate pick-up and race headquarters from 7am to 9am.

DIRECTIONS TO THE RACE:

From Whistler:

1) Take Sea-to-Sky Hwy/BC 99 South to Squamish approx. 60kms.

2) Turn left onto Clarke Dr. past the Shell gas station.

3) Turn left to stay on Clarke Dr. 120m

4) Take 1st right onto Guilford Dr. 500m

5) Turn left onto Westway Ave. 1.2kms

6) Destination, Valleycliffe School will be on the right and the race start/finish will be in Hunter Park, adjacent to the school yard.

From North Vancouver:

1) Take the Sea-to-Sky Hwy/BC-99 North

2) Turn right onto Clarke Dr.

3) Turn left to stay on Clarke Dr. 120m

4) Take 1st right onto Guilford Dr. 500m

5) Turn left onto Westway Ave. 1.2kms

6) Destination, Valleycliffe School will be on the right and the race start/finish will be in Hunter Park, adjacent to the school yard.

Parking: Some parking will be available at the school, racers and spectators are required to park on Westway Ave past Plateau Dr. as there is a lot of space along the street on both sides. Please do not park in front of residential housing.

This race has been blessed with hot sun in the past so be sure to bring lots of WATER and SUNSCREEN.

NOTE: There will be porta-potties onsite so no need to use the neighbor’s yards!!!

The approximately 40km JABR course is set amongst some epic trail networks Through Squamish.

The Elite Canadian Mountain Bike Marathon course will feature the same trails as the regular JABR but with a couple of extensions (different coloured flagging will be used for these sections) added on to total over 60kms of racing.

Non-Canadian citizens are not eligible for the National Championship Race and will be doing the regular JABR course.

JABR is part of the Test of Metal Events which consists of the following races: Orecrusher, Test of Metal, GearJammer and Just Another Bike Race.
