Series Standings

Series Structure

Riders are required to race a minimum of 5 out of the 7 races. Best 5 results will determine your place in the series. In the event of a tie, your 6th result will determine the winner.

U13 and U15 series will consist of all 4 BC Premier XC races. Riders under 13 are not eligible to race Test of Metal group of races at this point, and so the Test of Metal races will not count for these categories.

Series winner will be announced at the end of the 8 races. Series winners will be invited to the Cycling BC Award Banquet on October 3rd to receive their prize.

For BC Premier Races

You will be able to register under your appropriate category with each specific race. These races all pre-registration only for the series.

For Test of Metal Races

All racers will pre-register through the event web site. They will not be using our categories for their registration, so just register under the most appropriate one for your age.

Once at the race, you will pick-up your race number / plate from the event organizer.

You will then need to come to the Cycling BC tent to sign-on for the Youth Race.

Cycling BC will take your name, team name, emergency contact phone number and race number.

There will be a separate finish line to work with a shorter race distance. We are aiming to have the races last between 1.5 and 2 hours. Cycling BC will give you instruction on the finish line for the race.

You must be 13 as of race day to be allowed to race. In the Test of Metal race, if you are 13, you will also need to submit your name to Barry at race@cyclingbc.net so you can register.

You will start the race in accordance with the organizers start format. Cycling BC representatives will be at the designated youth finish line to take results.

Racers are eligible to continue on with the longer course once they have checked in with Cycling BC at the youth finish line.
