Community Initiation (Online) (Private Event)

This 4 hour online workshop by Zoom provides coaches is ideal for parents, volunteers, teachers, and others who occasionally work with youth or adults new to cycling. Topics include:

• Ethical decision making
• Planning and organizing a practice
• Cycling safety and risk management
• Introducing disabled riders to the sport

This course is the minimum requirement for all Cycling BC registered coaches and instructors. Club coaches can skip this course and instead enroll in the Comp-Intro pathway.  Learn more about the NCCP here. Registration closes 72 hours before the event start.
