Ideal for parents, volunteers, teachers and others who occasionally work with youth or adults new to cycling, this one day, in-class workshop covers the basic principles of coaching including ethical decision making, planning and organizing a practice, cycling safety and risk management, and introducing disabled riders to the sport.
This course is the minimum requirement for new coaches who would like to work with a local group or Cycling BC’sĀ iRideĀ program. As an alternative, coaches can skip this course and instead enroll in NCCP Comp-Intro Training Basics.
