This full-day, hands-on workshop is focused on the teaching of discipline-specific skills and tactics and is designed to provide you with opportunities to practice your leadership and instruction abilities.
As part of the NCCP Competition-Introduction pathway, numerous pre-requisites are required before attending this course. Learn more about the pre-requisites here. Registration closes 72 hours before the event start. Upon registration, participants receive resources to help them prepare for the workshop. Please arrive with a prepared lesson plan and be ready to lead your first skill.
A Comp-Intro Coach wants to train and support athletes who are interested in participating in youth club programs or adult recreational clubs that may or may not involve local and provincial competitions or gran fondos. Coaches are focused on building discipline-specific skills & tactics and daily routines that help athletes prepare and complete a goal event or full season.
