World Tuesday Night Championships (WTNC)

WORLD TUESDAY NIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPS (WTNC) ARE BACK!

This year’s events take place at UBC every Tuesday, between May 6th and August 12th. These events are sanctioned as a Grassroots 100-plus event, so your race results can contribute to a subjective upgrade request. Our events are weather-dependent; please check our Facebook page or email for updates on the day. Please bring your chip tag or purchase one for $5 using this system.

For season pass holders, we guarantee a minimum of 12 of 15 scheduled events. If more than three events are rained out, we will issue a $15 refund for each additional rain-out.

All athletes, including those who buy a SEASON’S PASS before May 5th, must check in between 5:30 pm and no later than 15 minutes before their race start. The first wave of racing begins shortly after 6:00 pm.

As a grassroots event, you can self-seed, but we encourage the following matrix:
GROUP A = Cat 1/2 Men, Cat 1/2/3 Women
GROUP B = Cat 3 Men, and Cat 4/5 Women
GROUP C = Cat 4 Men
GROUP D = Cat 5 Men
GENTLEMEN OF LIESURE = Cat 3,4,5 Master’s Men
