The bike parks are closing and the ski hills haven’t opened yet. That makes November a perfect month to sharpen your skills, and Cycling BC is excited to make the most of it.
This November, Cycling BC is running a youth enduro skills series on the North Shore, led by two of the best riders in the country.
When: Every Saturday in November (Nov 7, 14, 21 and 28), 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Where: North Vancouver: Seymour and Fromme
Who: Riders aged 14-16 who can confidently ride black trails (*age as of Dec 31, 2026)
Capacity: 8 riders
Cost: $40 per session, or $130 for all four!
Membership: Cycling BC Annual membership required

Each session will start with focused skill work on the fundamentals for riding and racing: body position, braking, and cornering. After that, the group will head out on a trail ride to use those skills to work, along with sessioning features, talking through line choices, building fitness, and having some fun.
There’s no race pressure. The aim is to ride better and ride more, at a time of year when a lot of riders stop.
Geza Rodgers from Port Moody has raced almost every kind of bike there is: BMX, cyclocross, road, track, XC, enduro and downhill. She’s a Canadian U21 Enduro Champion and Junior Downhill National Champion, and she represented Canada at the 2024 Downhill World Championships. Her all-round background makes her an amazing coach for riders building their foundations.
Elly Hoskin is the 2025 Enduro World Champion. The Squamish rider has won the Canadian Open Enduro at Crankworx Whistler three years in a row, and she was a regular on Enduro World Cup podiums as a U21 rider before stepping up to Elite. She’s a great example of what consistency and hard work can do.
It’s November on the North Shore, so expect rain. Dress warm and in layers, and bring a waterproof jacket, full-finger gloves and a dry change of clothes for after. A wet ride outside is always better than no ride at all.
The series is designed for riders aged 14-16 who are comfortable on black trails, who are interested in, or already, racing. Riders slightly younger or older may be accepted, depending on space. With only 8 spots, we expect this to fill quickly.
