Canada Summer Games

Canada Summer Games

The Canada Summer Games are held once every two years, alternating between winter and summer, the Canada Games represent the highest level of national competition for up and coming Canadian athletes. The Games have been hosted in every province at least once since their inception in Quebec City during Canada’s Centennial in 1967.   The Canada Summer Games 2017 Winnipeg continues the Canadian tradition as a multi-sport event to provide development opportunities for amateur athletes and to help them advance their skills in a competitive, but friendly environment.

January 2017.  To be eligible for selection to the team athletes will need to possess a current Cycling BC License, and be born between 1995 – 2000 (athletes born in 2001 can apply through Cycling BC for an upgrade from Cycling Canada).
