Bosa Development signs on as the first champion sponsor of the New West Grand Prix

Bosa Development has signed on as the official Champion sponsor of the New West Grand Prix taking place in downtown New Westminster on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. The New West Grand Prix is the newest member of BC Superweek, one of North America’s most prestigious road cycling series. New Westminster will play host to some of the best riders in the world representing more than 13 different nationalities.

“We design connected communities, placing livability at the core,” said Ryan Bosa, president of Bosa Development. “Residents in Bosa communities can walk and bike everywhere. With our commitment to energize neighbourhoods and inspire residents, Bosa Developments is excited to sponsor the New West Grand Prix.”

Bosa leads the pack of real estate developers who have come on board to support the New West Grand Prix. Other developers signing on as Breakaway sponsors include Domus Homes, I4 Property Group, and Skyllen Pacific. Each of these real estate developers have projects underway in New Westminster.

“We are thrilled to have such great support for this event by the development community,” said Mayor Jonathan Coté. “The New West Grand Prix wouldn’t be possible without the generous financial support of our sponsors and we would like to extend our sincerest thanks to all our 2017 event sponsors.”

As part of Canada’s largest professional road cycling series, the New West Grand Prix is expected to attract thousands of spectators and cycling enthusiasts to New Westminster for a day of sport, entertainment, and family activities. The criterium-style race will be one of the more challenging races during the BC Superweek series with cyclists completing 45-55 laps and facing downhill speeds upwards of 60-70 km/hr. This free event will start with the kids race at 4:45 pm, followed by the youth race at 5:30 pm, pro women at 6:15 pm, and pro men at 7:30 pm. The event will conclude with an awards ceremony at 9:00 pm.
