SFU VO2 Max Study Needs Volunteers

This is a wonderful opportunity for racers who wish to receive a handful of physiological data that is nearly impossible to get in any other way.

WHO: Male Cyclists between the Ages of 20-45, who have been active racers in the past 2 year

WHAT: 6 sessions with final data summarized re: Watts, HR, core & skin temp, blood acidity and more.

  • Session 1 = study introduction and free VO2 max test
  • Sessions 2-5 = Four Time Trials in different temperatures and CO2 gas compositions
  • Session 6 = one more VO2max test at the end of the study to observe any changes in fitness
