The vote on the proposed amendment to Bylaw 6.03 has concluded. The results are in — 100% of votes cast were in favour, and the amendment has been approved.

Cycling BC held its 2026 Annual General Meeting on Monday, June 15, 2026. During the meeting, several updates were presented to members, including the results of the Board of Directors election and a retrospective on 2025, which included the organization’s financial status for the year. A proposed amendment to Bylaw 6.03 was also discussed.

The proposed amendment to Bylaw 6.03 was circulated and shared with members through communications sent on June 5 and June 12, 2026, and has been available on the Cycling BC AGM webpage.

To help you make an informed decision, we have provided the details regarding the bylaw change below. We encourage you to review them carefully.

Although the motion to amend the bylaw was presented during the meeting, voting on the Bylaw change will take place online, ensuring that all members have the opportunity to participate.

Online voting for the motion to change the bylaws is open until 11:59 PM on June 19, 2026, through the CCN membership platform. Only Cycling BC members who had their 2026 membership on or before May 16 are eligible to vote.

By supporting this bylaw change, you will help strengthen our governance, reduce barriers, and advance our shared goal of building a more sustainable and agile Cycling BC.

***How to Vote in 6 Easy Steps***

Step 1. Go to https://ccnbikes.com/#!/events/2026-bylaw-voting, and click on Individual Registration.

Step 2. If you are not already logged into your CCN account, you may be prompted to log into your CCN account used to purchase your 2026 Cycling BC membership.

Step 3. Once logged in, choose your CCN User Profile and click on Register.

Step 4. During the voting process, you will cast your vote for the bylaw amendment by selecting your preferred option from the dropdown menu next to each bylaw. The layout may vary depending on your screen size and orientation. Once all your vote has been added to your cart. Click ‘Next’.

Step 5. Review your info and vote selection, then click on “Complete and Proceed to Cart.”

Step 6. Okay, you’re almost finished. Remember to click ‘Submit & Complete’ below your order summary to finish the voting process.

You will see a thank-you message for voting once your vote has been submitted, and you will also receive a confirmation email of your vote.
