Join us this October for a fun and exciting introduction to Cycling BC’s iRide program.  As part of a 1-week visit from iRide’s Lower Mainland team of coaches and equipment, Saturday’s community event takes place during the Skeena Farmer’s Market and offer participants the chance to try iRide!

Participants will be able to work through an iRide obstacle course with the help of iRide coaches, experience the fun of iRide, and win prizes.  This event is open to all ages.  Learn from our exciting iRide coaches and get stoked on riding better and faster than before!

Participants must be able to ride a 2-wheel bicycle without training wheels.  Participants can bring any style of bicycle and a helmet. If you are in need of a bicycle, we are happy to provide one (a suggested minimum height for an iRide rental bike is 4ft. tall).

Participants will receive a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Medal

Over the course of our week-long trip to Terrace, iRide will be visiting 5 local schools and offering a coaching certification course.  This trip has been organized in conjunction with the Terrace Off-Road Cycling Association (TORCA) who, in partnership with iRide, are offering an after-school program for local youth next spring. If you are interested in becoming a neighborhood leader and community coach to assist with extra-curricular programs in the area, please contact Cycling BC at iRide@cyclingbc.net to learn more.

To register for the coaching course taking place in late September, learn more here.
