Success at UCI Pump Track World Championship Qualifier in Sicamous, BC

Sicamous, BC hosted its first-ever UCI Velosolutions Pump Track World Championship qualifier at the Finlayson Park Pump Track on Friday, September 6th and Saturday, September 7th. The event was a great success and drew competitors from various locations. The winners in the Elite category earned the opportunity to compete in the World Championship event, which will take place in South Africa on November 9th.

The event also featured a free Learn to Ride session which saw 39 kids from Sicamous, Salmon Arm, and Revelstoke take part in a 2-hour workshop led by Pro Riders Alam Mandel and Mitchell Radcliffe. The kids were taught track etiquette, track communication, and track racing techniques.
