Cycling BC would like to thank all the members who expressed interest in serving on one of the new volunteer committees this year, including the Race Committee, HopOn Review Committee, Membership Structure Review Committee, and DEI Committee.
We are happy to provide an update on the upcoming steps for each committee.
Race Committee
There were more expressions of interest (11) than we had openings (7), so an online vote will be held to elect committee members. Voting will be conducted online using the CCN registration system to verify eligibility and Cycling BC membership for 2024. The voting period runs from now until 11:59 PM on Friday, January 26, 2024.

HopOn Review Committee
Four members expressed interest to serve on the HopOn Review Committee and it will not require a vote. Members who expressed an interest in the committee will be contacted shortly to get started on the committee’s next steps.
Membership Structure Review Committee & DEI Committee
We are extending our search for members to join the Membership Structure Review Committee and the DEI Committee. We need a few more members for each committee. If you or someone you know is interested in joining either of the committees, please reach out to erin@cyclingbc.net.
