The Ride of Hope started because Terry’s younger brother, Darrell, wanted to do something special to mark the 35th anniversary of Terry’s Marathon of Hope. In 2015, Darrell and a small crew of riders cycled 350 km to the base of Mount Terry Fox, in British Columbia.

In the years since, this pedal-powered fundraiser has expanded to include Rides right across Canada.
