Since 2019, the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada (SDRCC) has managed the Abuse-Free Sport Program, including the Office of the Sport Integrity Commissioner (OSIC) and The Abuse-Free Helpline. The program enforces the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS).
On April 1, 2025, the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) will take over and introduce the Canadian Safe Sport Program (CSSP) Rules for national-level, federally funded sport organizations. The Abuse-Free Sport Helpline will be closed as of March 31, 2025.
Cycling BC clubs and affiliates should remove the Abuse-Free Sport Helpline info from their websites or anywhere it is displayed by March 31st and replace it with the Flag Tool for Sport link from viaSport.
