Cycling Canada Advancement Education Series

Cycling Canada is inviting parents, athletes, and coaches to their Advancement Education Series. The aim of this series is to help aspiring cyclists work towards national team selection and success. Each session will include a 30-minute interview with a national team coach or field expert, facilitated by Cycling Canada’s Head Coach, Dan Proulx. Following the interview, there will be a 30-minute Q&A session where attendees can ask questions.

This information series is specifically designed for athletes in the Train-to-Train and Train-to-Compete phase of Long Term Development or those aiming to participate in national team projects and teams within the next 4 seasons.

This winter’s focus revolves around technical and tactical development.  Participants are invited to attend talks beyond their current cycling discipline to help spark new training ideas and further connect because, after all, learning faster than the competition is our greatest sustainable advantage.

FOR COACHES ONLY

To support our discussion, we request attending coaches hold at least NCCP Competition-Introduction CERTIFICATION (at a minimum). NCCP-certified coaches receive 1 professional development per workshop attended.

Note: Coaches are welcome to attend the athlete sessions so that everyone knows the information being discussed.
