National Coaches Week, which runs from September 16 – 22, 2024, is an opportunity to celebrate the positive impact coaches have on athletes, participants, and communities across Canada. Coaches are essential community leaders, role models, and mentors who play an integral role in igniting passion for sports and physical activity.
This week, we encourage everyone to come together to say #ThanksCoach to all the coaches who call BC home. We invite everyone—sport organizations, teams, clubs, coaches, parents, and athletes—to join us in recognizing and appreciating the coaches who make a positive impact on our lives.
Share your own messages of support on social media; say #ThanksCoach and follow National Coaches Week on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram using hashtags #CoachesWeek and #ThanksCoach.
