Play a key part in evolving how we support our vibrant cycling community by putting your name forward to join one of our new committees. We’re looking for Cycling BC members who can contribute their skills and time to collaborate and serve in a volunteer capacity.
There are four committees in need of participants:

Selection Process
- HopOn and Race Committees
The HopOn and Race Committee members will be elected via online vote as per the motion passed at the EGM on December 18. If there are more interested participants than available spots, the candidates and their relevant experience will be shared January 21 and the vote will occur between January 21 and January 26, 2024. - Membership Structure and DEI Committees
The Membership Structure and DEI Committee members will be selected by Cycling BC staff in collaboration with the Board.
You must hold a current Cycling BC membership to be considered.
Committee Composition
The minimum of members outlined below is required to form each committee. For those committees selected by the Cycling BC staff and Board, members will be selected to ensure a competent cross-section of skills, within the following expected ranges:
Race Committee: 5 to 9 members including a chair
HopOn Review Committee: 3 to 5 members including a chair
Membership Structure Review Committee: 7 to 9 members including a chair
DEI Committee: up to 9 members including a chair
Time Commitment
The time commitment for each committee will vary. Please refer to the terms of reference for more information.
Committees will start work in February.
