Following the Youth camp in Cumberland an Adult camp was held on Saturday evening at Oceanside BMX in Qualicum Beach, BC.  For a couple of hours seven adult rider’s learned the ins and outs of BMX racing.  With the common goal of staying relaxed (mantra of: “Be like water”) and having fun, everyone learnt the basic skills of riding a BMX track and gained an understanding for the sport.

On Sunday morning Cycling BC headed out to Qualicum Beach to hold a Youth Development Camp at Oceanside BMX.  20 athletes worked on their skills and tested them out on their newly rebuilt track.  In the afternoon 14 Junior Development athletes took to the track for a 3-hour camp.  These athletes worked to build on their existing BMX skills and spent much of the camp jumping, manualing and pack ridding in the corners.
