Six BC cyclists are heading to Rio to take on the world at the Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer. Laura Brown (Vancouver), Jasmin Glaesser (Vancouver), and Georgia Simmerling (West Vancouver) will be representing Canada on the velodrome. Tory Nyhaug (Coquitlam) is Canada’s sole BMX athlete at the games this year. Catharine Pendrel (Kamloops) will be riding for Canada in the mountain bike competition. Tristen Chernove (Cranbrook) will be representing Canada at the Paralympic Games in Rio.
