The Provincial BMX Development Team wrapped up their season last weekend in Vernon, BC. For their year-end project, the team travelled to the BMX Canada Rattler Nationals for some out of town racing experience.
This group of talented 11-13 year-olds were accompanied by their coach Mischa Partridge to help them learn the track in practice, review video, and ensure everything ran smoothly during racing.
The first day of racing saw all 9 riders qualify for their respective finals. “Many of the athletes had great performances this weekend. I think my highlight was seeing the 13-year-old girls place in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in their final on Sunday” said coach Partridge.
The group was treated to a team dinner on Saturday where they shared some of their highlights with their teammates. It was a great way to wrap up the season.
