It is with great sadness that we have received notice of the loss of a dear friend and member of our Cycling BC High Performance BMX team. Aidan Webber from Nanaimo, BC died in a workplace accident on Sunday, March 10, 2019 on Vancouver Island.
Aidan was a well-liked leader and role model on the Cycling BC High Performance team. Always good for a laugh and an extremely talented rider, Aidan’s presence is definitely going to be missed on the team and in the cycling community. Our hearts and prayers go out to Aidan’s family.
There are no details of a service at this point. Cycling BC has arranged for counselling services for any team members who require support at this difficult time.
