Kudos to Team Canada Cycling at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games

Following the conclusion of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games, Cycling BC would like to take a moment to look back and celebrate the accomplishments of our Team Canada athletes, coaches, and support staff, particularly those with connections to British Columbia. We commend their dedication and hard work in the sport.

While Canada’s cycling athletes and teams achieved varying results at this year’s Olympic games, witnessing them compete on the world’s largest stage of athletic competition serves as a source of inspiration for us to continue improving and supporting our community of athletes, coaches, and those who aspire to represent Canada in cycling at the international level.

Witnessing the growth of our BC athletes over the years, we recognize that their journey to the Olympics is the result of countless hours of training and years of dedication from the athletes themselves, their coaches, and all the remarkable individuals who contribute to the cycling community with their expertise, time, and commitment to the sport. As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child, and the same is true for nurturing an Olympian.

Seeing our BC athletes pursuing their passion and giving their all for Canada was truly inspiring. We eagerly look forward to what the future holds for them and the upcoming generations of Canadian cyclists who they have inspired.

Congratulations Team Canada!
