Supporting Business

Supporting Businesses refer to organizations that aim to sponsor events or riders without the commitments of a cycling club or a trade team. The Supporting Business affiliation is only acknowledged in British Columbia, and any activities conducted by them are not covered under Cycling BC’s insurance program unless they are sanctioned events.

Supporting Business Affiliation Benefits

  • Official Recognition—sponsored riders have the privilege of wearing the jersey of the Supporting Business as a sign of official recognition.
  • Business Acknowledgement—sponsored riders have the privilege of having the Supporting Business name appear on race results & standings.
  • Business Exposure—recognition and promotion on Cycling BC’s website
  • Event Sanctioning and Support—access to insurance coverage for events and assistance with event marketing
