Our BMX coach Mischa Partridge has worn a few different hats for Cycling BC over the years and has recently began another new endeavour. From Team BC athlete to the Canadian National BMX Team, Mischa continued his involvement with cycling as Cycling BC’s BMX Development Coach, a past member of our Board of Directors, and is currently Head Coach of the BMX program.
Mischa has a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic & Exercise Therapy and is a Certified Athletic Therapist. His experience in high performance sport dealing with many of his own injuries gave Mischa an immense appreciation for the work of his own therapists and sparked his interest in the world of rehabilitation.
Since becoming an Athletic Therapist, Mischa has travelled to UCI World Cup competitions with the National BMX team and to the 2019 Pan American Games with the Canadian Women’s National Volleyball team.
Mischa is currently working out of the Moveo Sport & Rehabilitation clinic in the Walnut Grove area of Langley, BC, providing personalized treatment and rehab for injuries new and old. For anyone looking for help recovering from a crash or dealing with pain that is keeping them off their bike, Mischa’s professional expertise and sport specific knowledge provide an in-depth understanding when working with cyclists. Not to mention a shared passion for the sport!
